At Open Door Independent Living LLC, we believe everyone deserves a safe, stable, and welcoming place to call home. Serving the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area, we provide comfortable, professionally managed independent housing for individuals and families who are ready for a fresh start and greater housing stability. Our housing opportunities are designed for adults and families who are able to live independently and may be navigating a period of transition, including those experiencing housing instability, transitioning from homelessness, rebuilding after significant life changes, or participating in reentry programs.
What makes Open Door different is our commitment to treating housing as more than simply providing a place to stay. We believe stable housing can create the foundation for independence, personal growth, stronger families, and brighter futures. As a housing provider, we focus on creating a clean, respectful, stable residential environment where residents can live independently. We welcome partnerships with case managers, housing navigators, nonprofit organizations, community agencies, government programs, and other referral partners seeking housing options for the individuals and families they serve.

Independent Independent Housing — Individual Adult
Open Door Independent Living LLC provides safe, stable, and comfortable housing for adults who are able to live independently and are seeking greater housing stability. Our independent housing option offers a clean, professionally managed residential environment where individuals can establish a stable home while working toward their personal goals and a brighter future. This housing option is designed for adults who do not require assisted living, medical care, personal care, or 24-hour supervision. Residents may be self-referred or connected to Open Door through community organizations, housing programs, case managers, reentry programs, or other referral partners.
Family Housing — Mothers & Children
Open Door Independent Living LLC provides safe, stable, and welcoming housing opportunities for mothers with children who are seeking greater housing stability and a fresh start. Our family housing option offers a clean, comfortable, professionally managed residential environment where mothers and their children can establish a stable home and move forward together. This housing option is designed for families who are able to live independently and do not require assisted living, medical care, personal care, or 24-hour supervision. Families may be self-referred or connected to Open Door through housing programs, case managers, nonprofit organizations, community agencies, and other referral partners. Our goal is to provide families with the stability of a place to call home while preserving dignity, independence, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
